The extension key indicator asked four things. First, how the college sensitises students to social issues in its neighbourhood. Second, how many awards it received for extension work. Third, how many outreach programmes it ran through NSS, NCC, Red Cross, YRC and similar forums. These could include government schemes and tie-ups with industry and NGOs. Fourth, what share of students took part. Metric numbers differ between manual versions, so always check the manual you are using.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new framework adds a second lens. As our guide explains, the seven criteria still exist, and ten attributes now shape the assessment. Two attributes matter most here: <strong>Industry Engagement and Societal Contribution<\/strong>, and <strong>Student Centricity and Holistic Development<\/strong>. <strong>Institutional Culture, Values and Best Practices<\/strong> also applies when an activity shows lasting values.
